Our Story

Hi, We're Aaron and Julia!

We embarked on our exciting journey together September 10, 2016 when we were married in Wichita, KS and began building our family. By 2019 we were blessed with two energetic boys who keep us on our toes. Life has been a whirlwind of adventure, growth, and love.

Our story first took us to sunny California, where Aaron served as an active duty Marine for the first four years of our marriage. It was during this time that we learned the value of resilience, adaptability, and the importance of cherishing every moment together.

In 2020, Aaron transitioned from military life to a career in construction, while Julia took on the role of homeschooling our boys and being a dedicated stay-at-home mom. As our family evolved, so did our aspirations. In the fall of 2023, we decided to pursue a new venture, fueled by our desire for better financial stability and the thrill of embracing a fresh challenge.

And thus, First Light Candle Co was born. We saw an opportunity to combine our passion for creating beautiful, non-toxic products with our entrepreneurial spirit. Julia took on the primary role of product designer and creator, while Aaron began working on the advertising/sales and book keeping side. Our journey led us to develop all-natural coconut soy candles, carefully crafted to bring warmth, comfort, and a touch of luxury into your home.

At First Light Candle Co., we believe in the power of simplicity. Our candles are free from harmful chemicals, using only the finest ingredients to ensure a clean and long-lasting burn. Each candle is hand-poured with love and attention to detail, reflecting our commitment to quality and craftsmanship.

We invite you to experience the magic of First Light Candle Co. and join us on this exciting adventure. Whether you're treating yourself or searching for the perfect gift, our candles are sure to ignite your senses and brighten your day.

Thank you for supporting our small family business. Here's to new beginnings and the joy of lighting up lives, one candle at a time.

Warmest regards,

Aaron and Julia
